Brave New Workshop (BNW) transforms people's thinking and behavior for the better through the use of its C3Practice method which stems from 60 years of practicing improvisation on and off stage and 20 years of helping clients apply the learning in corporate and everyday life settings. Started in 1958 by a former circus performer and American improvisation founding father Dudley Riggs, the organization today is owned by John Sweeney and Jenni Lilledahl and has grown to include the oldest satirical comedy theater in the U.S., a pioneering institute for personal development, a thriving corporate training business, and top business speakers.John Sweeney, Margi Simmons, Caleb McEwen, Jenni Lilledahl and Elena Imaretska make up the Creative Outreach team which helps activate the values and initiatives of Fortune 500 organizations such as Microsoft, Hilton Worldwide, Ingersoll Rand, Target and many more. The team inspires and trains thousands of professionals each year through keynote speeches, workshops and train-the-trainer experiences. Its Brave Tuesdays and MNovation series open the work to individuals and smaller teams who are ready to amp up their creativity, agility and resilience.The non-profit Student Union engages young people in its proprietary every-day improv curriculum. The Comedy Theater relies on 60+ years of satirical tradition to entertain audiences every week in its beautiful location in downtown Minneapolis.
