Hello friends,We started Acorn after an elusive search for a lovely soft winter hat made of pure merino wool with a fun and whimsical design for my little girl. With nothing available to suit our tastes and sensibilities, I decided to draw on my ten years of experience in the fashion industry and create my own children's label specialising in hats, scarves and mittens.We believe products should be made to last and in ethics in business; I am passionate about fair-trade and selling a product that has brought benefit along the whole supply chain.We support a women's collective that have been hand-knitting most of our winter products since we started.
