As a single working mother and natural foods pioneer, Toby knew exactly how to solve that problem: Create a salad dressing her kids would find irresistible. It worked. Wherever Toby's dressings appeared, veggies vanished. In the 1980s, when people started asking for a new type of dressing called "ranch," local restaurants came to Toby for help. Just a few tweaks to the recipe her kids were already devouring, and people couldn't get enough. Today, we're still crafting Toby's salad dressings in small batches using the best ingredients we can get our hands on—no funny business, just wholesome flavor.
