We want to share a sense of pride and joy with our smallholder producers when their product is sent out into the world bearing their image and name. That's why we honour one farmer on each of our dried fruit packets. Consumers can express their appreciation to the growers by sending them a selfie holding up their packet. In Mozambique's remote Lago District, we built up a fruit drying facility with currently employs 40 staff. 250 local smallholder farmers (all organic certified) sell us their mangoes and bananas for drying. By paying four times the local market price for produce, we enable our suppliers to improve their lives.
