We are a church in SLC extending the renewing work of Jesus. God has filled us with the Spirit and called us to join the Spirit's mission. The apostle Peter described this when he wrote, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." Missio's vision focuses on empowering our community to live into the priesthood of all believers who, filled with God's Spirit, extend God's presence and power into the very real and practical spaces of our lives; self, family, work, and neighborhood.
