Golden State Herbs, Inc. (GSH) is a domestic grower and processor of premium quality air-dried culinary herbs for the food industry located in Southern California. In the 1950's, the Vince family began farming fresh vegetables in California for sale in the local produce markets. In 1980, they started Golden State Herbs and have been growing the highest quality herbs since.Located in picturesque mountain and desert surroundings of the Coachella Valley in Southern California, the growing conditions are perfect for cultivating Dill, Basil, Italian Parsley, Cilantro, Marjoram, and many other culinary herbs.Our GSH processing plant houses 14 drying tunnels, a proprietary milling plant with custom milling to meet customer's specifications for a fast turn-around time, and a heat treatment chamber for applications that require a lower microbial load.
