Our Head Chef Ben Allnutt creates menus that reflect the seasons; he uses local award-winning produce for all meals, from our hearty Yorkshire breakfast, through lovely lunch options to an extensive and delicious evening menu.This year we have invested over £3 million and have recently become a 4 star hotel. We have added a new wing, comprising wonderfully comfortable and beautifully designed Superior Double Rooms as well as a superb, state-of-the-art event space, ideal for Weddings, private functions or meetings.Although parking is not available at the hotel, we can supply permits for two City of York car parks that are very close by and charge only £12 for 26 hours parking (from 8am until 10am). We offer free WiFi throughout the hotel to guests and delegates so you can stay in touch during your stay.
