Even with its history of religion, the "Buckle of the Bible Belt" is slowly coming undone. The city is steeped in tradition and religion and filled with individuals who are religiously lost.For that reason, we at Proclamation Church want to see the gospel go forth in this city in a way that will awaken people to the love of Jesus, their need for Jesus, and to join in on the proclamation of Jesus. We believe that in pursuing this, that we will see in Nashville as it is in heaven!We will see many of the thousands of college students in Middle Tennessee be equipped in the gospel as they are studying to become the next leaders in education, government, business, and art.We will see the many entertainers and entrepreneurs moving to the city grow deeper in the gospel as they continue to shape the cultural landscape of our city and our country.We will see business men and women find their identity in the love of Christ way more than the approval of man.We will see the many families in this city learn to love their neighborhood and their neighbors in the love that Jesus has first displayed for them that will continue to impact and change our city for generations to come. We will see churches that have steadily been in decline partner with the next generation of pastors and leaders to see their church building continue to be used in a way that shows kingdom partnership and kingdom unity.All of this is for the glory of God and we are excited that he has called us to this work.
