Archaeologist (Marine and Terrestrial), Project Manager, RISC Instructor
Kleanza is a small archaeological consulting company with community offices in Terrace, Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii, and on Vancouver Island. We mobilize easily and quickly to all locations in BC, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Kleanza provides a full range of archaeological and cultural services at competitive rates, from archaeological overview and impact assessments, to traditional land use studies. We specialize in culturally modified trees and archaeological training and workshops. Kleanza focuses on archaeology, heritage, community engagement, and education. We believe our personal connections with communities are our strength and the foundation of our success. We are accountable to First Nations, cultural heritage, our clients, and each other. We believe in safe and fair work environments, communication, transparency, environmental awareness, and inclusivity. We recognize the social, political, and cultural importance of our work. We are committed to making differences into educational opportunities, and disagreements into discussions. We are always looking for ways to improve the quality of our discipline and its professional standards. Kleanza Consulting is named after Kleanza Creek, which flows from the Kleanza Mountains into the Skeena River in northwest BC. Kleanza is a Tsimshian word meaning "Gold".
