Stone Bridge Asset Management is a Registered Investment Advisor. After working in the investment industry since 1995 managing individual and institutional wealth, founders Erik Boehm and David Babb started Stone Bridge as an independent wealth management company. Stone Bridge has a very conservative investment philosophy where the firm looks to limit downside risk rather than trying to create outsized market returns for its clients. This conservative philosophy means that the investment strategies and money managers often employ hedges or portfolio protection. This conservative theme that resonates throughout our investment strategies and solutions is a product of the past investment experiences of both Erik and David from the mid to late 1990's. Although they were separated by two continents and were managing different asset classes (fixed income and emerging market equities, respectively) the same valuable investments lessons were being learned. The world was interconnected and people–individuals and institutions alike–did not enjoy downside volatility. Stone Bridge Asset Management provides investment and consulting services for private clients, businesses and foundations on a fee for service basis.
