Digihaven in 1997 started web design for school boards and other free content sites running off its own low budget Windows server. Digihaven started to offer web hosting in 2002 to the public when Digihaven opened its own data center. The data center included customer support, multiple high grade (Dual CPU, raid etc...) servers running FreeBSD, UPS system and backup systems. In 2005 Digihaven started to offer free software. In 2008 Digihaven switched to the CentOS platform. In 2009 Digihaven started to offer Joomla software and free support to the public bringing in millions of downloads. In 2010 Digihaven reorganized its board of directors. In 2012 Digihaven started offer paid pro versions of its software with support.
