Harvard Undergraduates for Environmental Justice (HUEJ) has a dual purpose, to both educate and mobilize members of the Harvard and surrounding community in order to protect the Earth's resources and ecosystems.We take targeted political actions to further environmental justice efforts in our campus, city, state, and country. These actions include managing issue-focused campaigns, campaigning for pro-environmental candidates, and lobbying for pro-environmental legislation.We spread awareness of issues relating to environmental justice and train Harvard students to become advocates for those issues. We are currently developing a curriculum dedicated to environmental justice and the disproportionate impacts of climate change on populations around the world.
