BronxCare is the largest voluntary, not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system serving the South and Central Bronx, with 859 beds and more than 4,500 employees. Our ER is one of the busiest in New York, and the BronxCare Network is providing close to one million outpatient visits annually.Our 2021 full three-year accreditation from the Joint Commission, the nation's leading accrediting authority for hospitals, as well as 16 accredited residency programs are further validations of BronxCare's medical excellence. Additionally, our medical school affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and clinical collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System are enhancing quality, continuity, and evaluation of care, as well as providing shared resources.
