The Pro U Foundation is a Detroit-area 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to providing programs to transform students, athletes, performing artists and private individuals of all ages into top-tier talent.Our mission is to contribute to the total development of our clients so they can be in excellent physical, mental and financial health to reach the highest level in their field and in life overall.Recognizing the need for comprehensive and professional training services for bodily-kinesthetic learners in the Detroit area and in other communities throughout Michigan, Pro U founder Coach Joshua Jones, a second and third generation athletic coach and educator, began planting the seeds for what Pro U is today in 2013.Through the work of Jones, the son of a NCAA coach and a biomechanics and exercise physiology and nutrition college graduate, the organization earned its public charity status after an extensive six-month process in 2016.
