We Have A Name seeks to counter the cycle of negativity through messages of hope & love while championing and supporting causes that work to improve human happiness and which enhance the dignity of individuals.Human suffering and deprivation of dignity manifest in our society in a number of ways, however they present themselves most visibly in the form of homelessness & unemployment and therefore our priority is to address these two crises. How? By challenging assumptions and sharing love and hope, highlighting and enhancing the innate value of each individual by giving them time & care.Really, it comes down to a willingness to be the first to come last for another, here we walk in love and the spirit of give and not just words.Founders MessageMy name is Joshua and I'm the the founder of We Have A Name, my goal is to address the crisis of homelessness and unemployment, an injustice against human dignity and an affront to Love & Hope. While this may seem a lofty an ambitious dream, the fact is nothing changes unless we do. A purpose that doesn't invite criticism, disbelief and push back from others would be accepting failure in advance.I accept that this initiative operates within an ecosystem of vested interests (Community, Corporate, Government) operating the tools that seperate us (Finance, Media & Legislation) fueling the thoughts and feelings that enslave us (Fear, Greed, Affliction & Pride). The saying of a hand up and not a hand out has merit, what is missing however, is the concept of a shoulder to lean on, a hand to hold and the promise of a self-determined future granted through Dignity & Love.My Promise:The reality of launching and operating such an initiative within established constraints and practical realities will result in mistakes and learnings along the way.
