Forge New Frontiers (t/a Forge) is a mapping and geospatial solutions company. Our main focus is designing a location- and mapping-based application supplying the outdoor enthusiast with highly detailed and accurate maps of all hiking, mountain biking and trail running trails around South Africa, with the hope to expand into the rest of the continent and globally. In addition to the map product, Forge also encompasses a multimedia component in the forms of both internal Forge and user blogs, videos and photographs, Forge aims to create an all-inclusive web- and mobile-based package for any person wanting to explore the outdoors, from the first-timer to experienced mountaineer. We aim to remove the effort in looking for an area to hike or mountain bike, and the hassle of getting lost by supplying the customer with the most up-to-date and accurate geo-location service for the outdoors, backed up by detailed information in an easy-to-use, unobtrusive product. In addition to this we offer mapping and geospatial solutions and consulting, particularly for small to medium-sized entities, particularly those who are in tourism, travel or environmental services.
