Nuffield Southampton Theatres: One City. Two Venues NST, Nuffield Southampton Theatres is one of the country's leading producing theatre companies, creating bold, fresh and vital experiences through theatre. NST is as a commissioner, developer and producer of high quality theatre. We aim to create bold, distinctive productions, attracting the highest calibre of artist and talent to work in Southampton.NST has developed a profile and reputation for innovation and quality in Southampton and beyond the city, taking work to London and on tour nationally and internationally. Our produced programme is backed by a bespoke artist development programme and extensive outreach and community projects. NST was awarded Regional Theatre of the Year 2015 at The Stage Awards. In 2017 we opened the brand new performing arts venue in the city centre - NST City.. The new building includes a flexible 447 seat main house theatre, a 135 seat studio, screening facilities, rehearsal and workshop spaces, and a café bar and restaurant, Tyrrells. We remain committed to our current venue on the University of Southampton's Highfield Campus. To distinguish between our two venues, we are introducing NST City and NST Campus to reflect the location of each theatre and make it easier for our audiences to engage with our work across two venues.
