In 2002, in the city of Piraquara, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, the Associação Beneficente Dikaion was created - to assist children and adults in situations of risk and / or vulnerability, also with special needs, under the CNPJ registration for "Activities of Associations Defense of Social Rights ".Since 1997, the couple Josy and Josimar, taught singing to children in vulnerable situations. He used the living room of his house, borrowed some house in the distant neighborhoods or sat outside, next to a shack in the favela. In his music classes, walking on the outskirts, he met children in inhuman conditions who had nothing to eat or spent the day inside the carts, fighting for space with the trash, with the recycling workers' parents. They observed hunger, violence, cold, pain, sadness; and concluded that he needed to have a space to welcome the children with love and kindness, without making any distinction. From the tripod: seeing, knowing and acting, they started to work to act in the prevention and social rescue. They got a place, structured it gradually and gradually implemented constructive social inclusion activities.
