Time4 is a registered not for profit organisation founded in 2011. The name comes from the idea of making time for people. Time4‘s charitable emphasis has been on helping equip underprivileged young people to live successful and fulfilled lives. Over the last four years we have:- Run youth groups, and events. - Vocational events where people can explore different talents.-A local garden project where food was grown and shared with people in the community.- Crisis intervention. - A supportive environment - Life coaching - Therapeutic interventions. Some young people are dealing with childhood trauma as a result of, broken families, abuse and loneliness. Presenting with Symptoms PTSD, Anxiety and Personality disorders. - Time4 does not have anyone on the payroll. It owns no property, no cars and is a 100% grass-roots organisation, sustained by volunteers and donations. Over the past 4 years, we have collected £23,000 in donations. Time4 provides real one-to-one help, advice and nurturance. We have given these young people a safe place often with a warm dinner, and a supportive group to rely upon. -While the NHS has uses medical evaluations and prescriptive interventions, we are trying to fill a gap in current mental health provision. Through counselling and therapy offering psychotherapeutic intervention and wellbeing support that is so desperately needed.-Time4 is looking at ways to help prevent some of the problems mentioned. We will soon be working with schools, using a range of psychotherapeutic methods to help relieve stress and anxiety in both teachers and students. It is our belief that this will have a dramatic positive effect throughout the rest of their lives. Time4 is bringing mindfulness into schools.Our goal is to provide these types of interventions for little or no cost to the clientele, so we need your help and support.
