ABOUT: As a Christian faith-based organization since 1951, Mission Services of London is a non-profit, social service agency committed to serving London and area with compassion and hope. Our focus is on assisting individuals and families who struggle with poverty, homelessness and crisis, addiction and mental illness. We provide safe shelter, nutritious food, clothing, outreach, counselling, support, transition services and referrals through five branches.1. Community Mental Health Programs (CMHP) at 457 York Street offers several services for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and struggle with mental illness and/or substance addiction. 2. The Men's Mission & Rehabilitation Centre at 459 York Street operates as both an emergency shelter with 111 beds for homeless men 16 years of age and older, as well as a transitional residence with 35 beds for men requiring longer term support. 3. Quintin Warner House at 477 Queens Avenue is a 14-bed residential addictions rehabilitation home, which offers a four-month intensive program and continuum of care for males 18 years of age and older. .4. Rotholme Women's & Family Shelter at 42 Stanley Street is a safe place with room for up to 20 families—men, women and children—in need of emergency shelter and care. 5. The Mission Store is a thrift store at 300 William Street offering gently used clothing and household items at low prices as well as two programs that provide items without cost to individuals and families in need. To arrange a pick-up of donations, call 519-438-3056.Our work is made possible through the work of nearly 150 employees and the dedication of over 250 volunteers yearly, as well as the countless generous donors, partners and supporters. We run annual events and campaigns that bring awareness and involvement to our cause and our community. Contact us to find out about exciting volunteer opportunities.
