Katrina Gonzalez and Jorge Lopez started Waypoint with the purpose of seeking change in the industry, and with the desire to redefine the relationship between the contractor and the client. Ms. Gonzalez a proud Miami native and a third-generation owner was inspired by both her father and her grandfather's success. Being exposed to the business and learning the ins and outs at such an early age, is what fueled her passion for this profession. With roots dating back to the early 1970s, she is honored to be leading a new generation that her family's legacy in construction began. Nearly fifty years later, is when the family business merged its talent and experience forming the state-of-the-art company, now known as Waypoint Contracting, Inc.By her side leading the business efforts is Mr. Lopez, an accomplished construction professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of industry experience. Together they are making it their mission to make a positive impact in construction through their dedication and providing clients a carefree and resilient experience like no other. Operating with a sense of purpose and remembering the unique heritage that came before them is what shapes how business is being led today.
