Seniors Helping Seniors® In-Home Services is a unique in-home service that matches seniors needing help with other seniors who want to help. This creates the support you or your family member requires from someone who will understand them & their needs; buildingrelationships on mutual respect, understanding and assistance. Quite simply, those who give and those who receive learn from each other and each grows a little bit more each day.When cognitive deficits have eliminated the ability of the receiver to remember and grow from the relationship, the sense of comfort and wellbeing that comes from being in relationships with one who cares allows moment-to-moment experiences, which result in reduced anxiety and calmer behaviors. In some situations, Seniors Helping Seniors® services are provided just for a few hours a week to take care of light housekeeping, meal prep or transportation to run errands and/or medical appointments.
