The Darebin Falcons have been supporting girls and women in sport for nearly 30 years. The club supports AFL, soccer and 8-ball and is most famous for being one of the largest soccer clubs for girls and the most prominent and successful AFL club for women and girls. The Darebin Falcons are now one of only two stand-alone Clubs to be competing in the VFLW league following the introduction of licences to several AFL Clubs in 2018.The club connects with over 550+ girls and women and is growing rapidly each year. The Darebin Falcons directly impact over 2,500 people each year through community connections and are featured regularly in local and state-based press with a strong reputation for excellence in sport, as well as supporting young girls and women to reach and achieve their goals through physical activity.
