WOKobe is the official representative of Kobe city and contact point in Europe. Kobe is an attractive location for several industry sectors - biomedicine, ship building, aviation, IT and renewable energy. Kobe is especially advanced in hydrogen energy, which attracts a lot of attention from all over the world. Kobe was selected as a Global Startup Hub city by the Japanese government. Under the concept smart city, Urban Innovation Kobe was initiated. In this programme, collaboration between the government and startups is essential to solving urban problems.
