There are more than 100,000 children on the streets in Delhi alone, causing a severe shortage of shelter homes. OLTL's Home of Hope is the only home in Delhi catering to the needs of children with special needs.OLTL rescues children from abusive and neglectful situations and welcomes them into our Home of Hope. We work to stop the cycle of abandonment, by conducting awareness campaigns and women's empowerment initiatives in the local slums and communities. Our Girl's Education Program identifies girls at risk of child marriage and intervenes by counseling the parents and covering the financial cost of her education. Our Daycare program provides shelter, therapy, nutrition and education for special needs girls and homeless children. OLTL distributes more than 15,000 sanitary pads every month to women and girls who lack access to them.
