My Genome My Life is an organization that works every day to make a difference in helping patients to get access to their genetic information.We Believe• You own your genome & the DNA sequence• You own your medical information• You should have access to your genome• You should control access to your genomeHow We HelpIn other words, we help organizations by providing genetics resources for physicians, informed consent for hospitals, and prior authorization resources for patients & physicians.Pilot ProjectsWe are currently testing two concepts to improve patient access to genetic testing:• Co-Pay Assistance. This is similar to the patient access program that most pharmaceutical companies offer. We are helping patients get access to genetic testing when their plan has a high-deductible or their co-insurance is too high.• Prior Authorization Assistance.
