A non-profit 501(c)3 charity organization located in St. Paul, MN, dedicated to rescuing dogs and then training them as service dogs for veterans and families. We train and place about three dogs per year (it takes 6-12 months to train a service dog). We strongly believe that these specially trained assistance dogs can be incredibly helpful for both children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and adults or children with other disabilities. Each situation is different, so Pawsitivity individually selects and trains each service dog specifically for the needs and circumstances of the person with a disability, to encourage independence, mobility, and a loving, therapeutic bond.
