East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Service has undertaken an extensive range of community development work across Cornwall for the past 21 years. Our field work has included: community development work on a wide range of issues with groups in the rural areas and small towns; housing management projects; town development projects; rural strategic development work; work with the elderly and with young people; and with schools and groups of young people to develop young people volunteering projects and peer support schemes. We have worked extensively with the local authorities and with numerous town and parish councils. We have established operating partnerships with several voluntary sector agencies.
