The Hoosier Lottery began selling lottery tickets on October 13, 1989, after a majority of Indiana citizens voted "yes" on a 1988 voter referendum. Since then, we've offered hundreds of different fun and exciting games to our players, awarded prizes to millions of players and given billions of dollars to the State of Indiana.
