Meredith's Miracles is dedicated to providing financial assistance to young adults who are currently fighting colon cancer. Each year, 140,000 Americans are diagnosed with colon cancer and it is estimated that nearly 10% of those diagnosed are under the age of 40.We serve this overlooked demographic that often has young families to care for, little to no savings, and limited or no health insurance. We provide assistance with daily living expenses such as past-due rent, utility bills, and car repairs, so patients can focus on their health. Additionally, we seek out educational opportunities to help raise awareness about colon cancer and the power of early detection.We hope for a day when there is a cure for cancer. In the meantime, Meredith's Miracles provides hope to those with the disease today.
