We are a voluntary Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Wolverhampton called Wulfruna Land & Water Lifesavers, set-up as a charity using the CIO Foundation Model. The team takes its name from the City of Wolverhampton's founder Lady Wulfruna (c.935-1005). Wulfruna was a Saxon noblewoman from the Kingdom of Mercia, whom in 985 was granted lands by King Æthelred II.
