Since 1850, Gault & Frémont is specialized in manufacturing and distributing packaging for the food industry, the supermarkets, and all activities linked to the food and packaging. In the forties, G&F invented the traditional box for pastries. Today, G&F is the number 1 on the market of bags with approx. 3 billion bags manufactured per year. G&F packaging range and its mould range cover the following families of products: paper bags, cardboard boxes, range of wrapping & baking papers and baking moulds in paper and cardboard. The strategy of the company is to find packaging innovating solutions for the food professionals. G&F manufactures more than 90% of the range it proposes but this is not the only activity. Indeed, G&F is also specialized in advising customers on specific packaging needs and manufacturing bespoke packaging. For big projects, G&F gives total support to the customer from the study of the project to the end: help on the creation of the best packaging to follow the needs of the customer, personalization of this packaging, creation of a 3D template and manufacturing a prototype. Then, the new packaging is manufactured in big quantity in our factory. When needed, a storage service is available. All these services are possible thanks to our R & D dpt, the marketing dpt, to the "pre press" office in charge of all printing studies (printing work is done internally) and to its big capacity of manufacturing and storage. On December 2010, G&F became the 12832nd company in the world to become part of the World UN pact and has a "Green and Future" logo to confirm its commitment in environmental field. G&F factory is labelled "imprim'vert" (means "green printing") also shows the inks are ecological, then the company is certified PEFC™ et FSC®, which is about the good way to run some paper we use. All our products are manufactured in a strict hygiene way as requested by the standards in the food industry. In 2016, G&F received the BRC/IOP agreement.
