Volunteer Research at Harvard Society for Mind, Brain & Behavior - Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
In response to the recent explosion of interest in the university-wide Mind, Brain, and Behavior (MBB) initiative, HSMBB was officially formed in the fall of 2002. We promote multidisciplinary dialogue about, awareness of, and interest in topics related to cognitive science, while working to provide a sense of community among students interested in these topics.Cognitive science is a highly interdiscipliary field. Accordingly, HSMBB represents a wide variety of academic interests, ranging from artificial intelligence to cognitive neuropsychology to behavioral economics. Many students involved in HSMBB are currently pursuing a special Mind, Brain, and Behavior (MBB) track within their concentration. Participating concentrations include:Computer ScienceHistory and ScienceHuman and Evolutionary BiologyLinguisticsNeurobiologyPhilosophyPsychologyHarvard also offers a popular MBB Secondary Field, and students in HSMBB are just as often not formally pursuing an MBB track or MBB-related concentration. Anyone is welcome!
