Andinorganic is a social business dedicated to the strengthening and sustainability of communities and associations of small producers in Latin America. This strengthening is carried out through the international commercialization of its products, mainly coffee and cocoa, and investment in social projects of integral development. Our work includes the identification of the community, collaborative diagnosis of problems, design and execution of projects, strengthening at the associative level and the execution of interventions in favor of promoting the economic activities of the community and the territory. Andinorganic is the symbol of transparent commerce (Collaborative and transparent commerce). Transparent trade is an alternative version of traditional fair trade and its objective is to guarantee the visibility and benefit of the small producer, through the use of digital platforms that allow generating traceability between producer and the final consumer. The result is the dignity of the peasant, the dissemination of their experiences and culture, and the empowerment of peace-building processes in their regions. Our social business involves 12 peasant organizations from three departments of Colombia (Nariño, Cauca and Valle del Cauca) that join around 3,000 families of small agricultural producers, among whom are peasants, indigenous people, women, Afro-descendants, victims of the conflict, demobilized , among others. The programs and interventions carried out by Andinorganic revolve around Comprehensive Community Development, whose basic objective is to generate agency capacity in organizations to transform their territories in addition to providing them with tools for the creation of value.
