Having in mind the facts around cancer, the chilean government has promoted the clinical trials development to face the challenges around this disease. In the last year, 76 protocols / clinical trials have been approved, of which 22% are related to lung cancer, 14% prostatic cancer, 10% malignant melanoma, 9% kidney cancer, and 6% gastric cancer.
