Created in 2009 by Rosana Lanzelotte, researcher musician, and PhD in Informatics, MUSICA BRASILIS is dedicated to making available scores by Brazilian authors. Aiming at rescuing and disseminating Brazilian repertoires of all times and genres, largely inaccessible due to the lack of performance-oriented editions, the portal www.musicabrasilis.com.br contains more than 1500 musical compositions, by about 300 Brazilian composers, including music videos and games. All repertoires have separate parts for instruments. Founded in 2009 by Dr. Rosana Lanzelotte, researcher and PhD in Computer Science, Instituto MUSICA BRASILIS is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to make available Brazilian music scores, inaccessible due to the lack of paper editions.
