She specializes in helping people manage Life Transitions, with a special focus on Women in Transition. With over 20 years of experience, she helps clients navigate monumental situations in their lives that require a financial expert - including the loss of a spouse, transitioning through a divorce, receiving an inheritance, moving from the work force into retirement, and selling a business. She is a six-time recipient of the Five Star Professional Award which is given to the top 3% of financial advisors in Atlanta.Junko grew up in a traditional Japanese family where her father was a rainmaker and her mother was a homemaker. Her father managed the entire household's financials and her mother didn't know anything about money except the allowance she received from her husband monthly. Her mother's lack of financial independence made Junko determined to be a completely independent woman. She decided to move to the U.S. to earn an MBA and became a wealth manager in order to help women become aware of the importance of financial independence and to gain the confidence in doing so whether they are women of a household or single.Junko is a proud member of Balser Giving Circle that helps underprivileged children and young adults. She started an annual charity concert in 2017 to raise money for Torah Day School of Atlanta by singing and introducing Japanese culture to the community. She was a successful fundraiser for her synagogue and was heavily involved in helping other charities in Atlanta. Junko lives in Dunwoody with her husband and parents she brought from Japan five years ago. Her daughters Yael and Adina live in Philadelphia, PA and Silver Springs, MD, respectively.
