Integrative Care Outreach is a team-based clinical approach to increase health equity of people experiencing homelessness or extreme poverty in King County. ICO is creating on-going partnerships, not one-time interactions, to strengthen it's community-driven solution to lack of access.ICO's licensed practitioners address barriers to care, emphasize chronic disease prevention, integrate physical and behavioral health, and foster social determinants of health. ICO aims to help inform and shape civic priorities by bringing a voice to the underserved.OUR MISSIONTo provide quality holistic and integrative health care for people experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty in King County, WA.OUR VISIONICO envisions a future in which every person has easy access to holistic medicine. OUR PHILOSOPHYAccess to quality health care is a right, not a privilege, and it should not be denied or limited for ANY REASON including economic status, race, gender, sex, ability, housing, religion, language, insurance status, or citizenship. Without regular access to healthcare, individuals suffer from increased risk of preventable illness, longer hospitalizations, and a higher rate of premature death. Through it's work, ICO is urgently addressing barriers to health equity by bringing free healthcare directly to marginalized communities.COMPREHENSIVE CARE ICO's clients receive 100% free, individualized 30-60 minute clinical visits that includes assessment, diagnosis, management, and treatment any acute/chronic physical, mental, or behavioral health complaint. Naturopathic treatments may include pharmaceuticals, nutritional counseling, vitamin/supplementation, musculoskeletal manipulation, herbal therapies, homeopathy, cransiosacral therapy, or depuration therapy. Acupuncture services may include needling, cupping, Gua sha, electric needle stimulation, moxibustion or herbal formulas. Massage therapy may include Swedish style, Chinese style or deep tissue massage.
