Global Village Ventures is a partnership between Communities Inc., organizers of the Synapse Innovation Summit in Tampa Bay, and Global Village Publishing, the international publishing house who publishes "The Best of the World" series in 60 different countries around the world. "The Best Of" is much more than a book series - It is an economic love story on different cities that are used as VIP and client gifts by companies and organizations in these cities to attract investment and talent. With all of the excitement around innovation and entrepreneurship, Sven Boermeester (Global Village.world), Marc Blumenthal(Synapse Innovation Summit & Florida Funders), Andy Hafer(Synapse Innovation Summit & Dynamic Communities) and Brian Kornfeld(Synapse Innovation Summit & Popkorn Apps) decided to launch a new series called "Innovate." The first edition of "Innovate Tampa Bay" was successfully launched in 2017. Innovate Tampa Bay was so much more than just another beautiful Coffee table book - it was an ode to the creativity and ingenuity of the people of Tampa Bay. A Visual feast of print and digital media blended into a timeless showcase of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Tampa through the clever use of Augmented Reality - Harry Potter style.After the unrivalled success of Innovate Tampa Bay, the partners decided to roll the Innovate series out through all major Innovation hubs in the USA.Sven Boermeester: "Every city around the world is competing on an economic level and it's all about growing and building their ecosystem. It's all about entrepreneurship, startups, funding, talent and it can be like a rat race because each city needs to harness their Ecosystem.
