Pulmonary Associates was founded by Dr. Paul Stewart in 1978. Dr. Stewart expanded the group by adding physicians who are highly skilled in pulmonary medicine and allergy services, and dedicated to compassionate care of patients.Today, Pulmonary Associates includes 14 physicians and four advance practice nurse practitioners. Pulmonary Associates specializes in the care of patients in a private practice setting, or who are hospitalized in acute care or long-term care facilities in the Las Vegas Valley.As a medical subspecialty, Pulmonary Associates provides services in the hospital on a consulting basis, managing patients in the Intensive Care Unit and those who need ventilator support.
