RVCE Updates is an innovative venture started with the intention of being a one stop guide for everything related to RV College of Engineering, a premier engineering college of India. RVCE Updates intent on sharing everything happening around in campus as a lot of activities which occur go unnoticed among a majority of students who do not take the trouble to read each and every single notice board. The site fulfills the needs of students. The website also contains an open forum to exchange knowledge and query among people. RVCE Updates can be said as a digital notice board of the campus. Initially, the website was restricted to college fests, seminars, workshops and the activities conducted by various clubs in the college. Now, it encompasses everything that grabs the attention of an engineering student. The website was launched on August 14th of 2011. It has helped thousands of people within short duration of time and has got more than 70 thousand visits to the site in less than 8 months of start.
