The Data Collaboration Alliance is a registered nonprofit that is dedicated to making CONTROL the foundation of meaningful data ownership and more inclusive innovation. We believe that the current approach to data sharing and data integration based on the exchange of copies is a barrier to data privacy and digital transformation. Our goal is to support the establishment of a new "collaboration flywheel" within the global innovation economy, whereby:1. Developers adopt new technologies, standards, and protocols to minimize data usage, boost privacy, and, ultimately, eliminate copies in order to create the necessary conditions to CONTROL operational data.2. Increased control leads to greater trust, transparency and, ultimately, meaningful OWNERSHIP of access and deletion for end users, stewards, teams, suppliers, and partners.3. Increased ownership leads data owners and stewards to grant more ACCESS to their information and thereby accelerate the development of new public and private solutions such as apps, systems, automations, and algorithms.4. Increased COLLABORATION makes the IT delivery process faster, more efficient, and less risky compared with traditional copy-based approaches and this attracts more developers to support control.Data owners win. Innovators win. Economies and societies benefit. Our FREE programs include:> Champions Program - opens activities to augment brand, content, and leadership strategies as well as access to unique datasets.> Information Ownership Network (iOWN) - free community, toolkit, and sandbox for data privacy, data law, data compliance, and IT professionals,> Data Collaboration University - open learning environment offering free data-centric skills training. The Data Collaboration Alliance is also active in the creation of Data Governance standards (such as the Zero-Copy Integration) and interoperability protocols that enhance data control.Visit: datacollaboration.org#AccessNotCopies
