VPP stands for "voluntary protection program," which is designed to promote effective worksite-based safety and health. The program recognizes a select group of companies where employers and employees have instituted a comprehensive and effective safety program. Key factors in VPP include employee involvement and continuous improvement.We operate in three main business areas:• Training – Roco provides training courses at the Roco Training Center (RTC), which is located near the Baton Rouge airport, or onsite at the customer's location of choice. Participants are municipal, industrial or military emergency response personnel.• Equipment – Roco offers a variety of high quality safety and rescue equipment to compliment the training courses and meet the needs of our customers.• Contracted Safety & Rescue Teams (CSRT) – Roco's trained and equipped teams of certified Confined Space Rescue Technicians are hired by industrial customers to stand-by onsite during turnarounds (maintenance) and/or construction projects.
