Driven by the passion to help others, Techcare Innovation is a technology company that develop and deliver smart rehabilitation and fitness devices to bring a better life for people through exercising. To date, the company's inventions had won over 30 national and international awards including Best of R&D in MSC APICTA Award, World Invention Award in British Invention Show, and King SeJong Inventor awards in Korea Inventor Award. This dream team initially began as a humble student team led by their lecturer. Heading the team is, Kang Xiang who has a PhD in Bioengineering and Bachelor's Degree in Electrics-Mechatronics and a passionate engineer who want to help the needy using the engineering technology. Serving as an Advisor to TechCare, is Dr. Yeong Che Fai, who in addition to being a senior lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), is also an entrepreneur and heads several research and commercial projects. Joining them as the company's Chief Technical Officer are Patrick Chin, an experienced software programmer with a background in mechatronics; and Dr. Eileen Su, who has a background in biomedical engineering with 7 years of research experience in human performance. The team met at UTM and formed their company TechCare Innovation in 2014. They named the company ‘TechCare' carries the meaning ‘technology that cares.'
