For nearly 30 years GROW serves entrepreneurs throughout West Michigan as an economic development organization. We serve a diverse client base, promising entrepreneurs, regardless of race, ethnicity, income, gender, age or education, with opportunities to develop the skills and acquire the knowledge they need to achieve economic independence through self-employment, primarily in the form of small business startups and expansion of small business. GROW is one of 103 designated Women Business Centers in the United States and one of three in Michigan. http://growbusiness.orgRecent growth has expanded our small business lending program to offer microloans, small business loans, collaboration with other funding sources and the technical assistance to guide entrepreneurs through the loan process, but also through the implementation of assets, tools, and staff made possible through the funding.Continued expansion to the Lakeshore in 2018We expanded to add a full-time business development specialist in the Muskegon Innovation Hub (the HUB) at Grand Valley State University.
