Greenwood Public Library is a vibrant community library. Our building is a bright 51,500 square feet packed full of electronic and print resources, community rooms, and creative space. No longer a warehouse of books within four walls, GPL has a presence in the community as well as an online resources available 24/7. Last year 43,000 people attended our free family events, including Summer Reading for all ages, our outdoor Starlight Movie Nights, storytimes, book clubs, Foodie events, craft classes, and a host of other creative programs for all ages. Our 40+ public computers are generally well used, our wireless is free and fast, and our free computer classes are in demand.
