The Dominican American National Foundation (DANF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Miami, Florida's diverse community of Allapattah. For over 25 years, DANF's mission has been to permanently infuse Dominican culture into the fabric of American society through the implementation of social programs that promote upward mobility, economic empowerment, and educational achievement. From its humble headquarters in the community of Allapattah in Miami, the foundation has executed both local and national efforts to generate awareness of the growing Dominican population and its needs in the US. Staying true to its mission, DANF has spearheaded such high-profile initiatives as the "White House Briefing of Dominican-American Leaders" Day at the White House in Washington, DC to address Dominican American social concerns and "Dominican Heritage Night" with the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park in Miami, FL to celebrate the beauty of Dominican cultural heritage.
