Scott Bridge Company, Inc.'s roots date back to 1933 when Mr. I.J. Scott (Jud) and two partners formed Scott Construction Company in Thomasville, Georgia. In 1957 Mr. Scott left this firm to form his own company, The Scott Bridge Company, in Opelika, Alabama. The company became incorporated in 1965 by I.J. Scott and his son, I.J. Scott, Jr.Currently, Mr. I.J. Scott's grandsons, I.J.
