Conversations About All Matters of Health — Featuring Personal Stories and Expert Guests.The Health: It's Personal Podcast, aka The HIP Podcast, covers all matters of health and features real stories from individuals as well as expert advice and guidance. Topics include traditional health-related discussions, such as nutrition, physical fitness, sport, and various health conditions, but the HIP podcast also dives into less traditional topics, such as mental health, financial health, sexual health, relationships, and so much more. These are all part of an individual's health and wellbeing, after all! We strive to tackle topics that are not often talked about or are difficult to discuss with those we care about most, aiming to help people feel less alone and to make these conversations easier. We help arm our listeners with practical advice and wisdom so that they can better understand themselves, their health, and what is going on in the lives of those they care about. Our primary target audience is teens and young adults, as well as their parents and caregivers, but these conversations and episodes are helpful for people of all ages and in all situations. Each episode features diverse perspectives from guests who are carefully chosen due to their experience, expertise, ability to connect, and passion and dedication to helping others. By sharing their stories, their experiences, and their advice with others, we all hope that, together, we're able to make a difference in at least one person's life with each episode.One of our driving principles is to tackle topics that are often subjected to stigmas or misinformation, helping to shed light on these issues and help people understand that it is both okay to talk about these things as well as to ask plenty of questions. We approach each interview with this curiosity and bravery in mind, asking plenty of our own questions that may seem difficult or awkward to ask at first.
