Hayah Karima Foundation is a non-profit organization, that was established with registration number 902 of 2019 on October 22 at the Ministry of Solidarity, to be the official umbrella for young volunteers to support, plan, follow up and evaluate the performance of the national project "A Decent Life". We believe that human development is a shared responsibility of society as a whole for the sake of a better life for those most in need. Those in charge of the foundation are young people who volunteered to bring a tangible change in the lives of those most in need, by devoting all their efforts and time to charitable and development work. The Foundation has also launched many initiatives that serve the citizens, the most important of which are the "Hayah Karima, El-Tasaloh-Hayah, Rad El-Gemil, and Hemaya".The presidential initiative Hayah Karima "Decent life", was launched on January 2, 2019, and then turned into a National Project, in January 2021. It is worth mentioning that this initiative has contributed to mitigating the negative impacts of COVID-19 through improving the standards of living conditions of the most in need groups. While providing job opportunities through supporting SMEs. The goals of this initiative are to be achieved through:- Providing decent housing.- Providing water and sanitation for deprived families.- Providing medical and educational services.- Establishing micro-projects for those most in need.- Providing in-kind support periodically to most families.Hayah Karima is an initiative endorsed by H.E President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, with the main objective of improving the quality of life in the poorest rural communities within the framework of the Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt Vision 2030, through decreasing multidimensional poverty and unemployment rates. The initiative comes as an affirmation of the state's willingness to implement the participatory planning approach.
